Care Assistant - Bank Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Care Assistant. You will deliver high standards of personal care, contribute fully to the care team, and ensure continuity of services to residents. Base pay range Package description – pay based on skills and experience. Shift: 19:15 – 07:15. Responsibilities Assisting residents with all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect. Recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections and escalating identified risks in a timely manner. Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident. Practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasks. About You To be successful you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. Experience is not required – we provide a thorough induction and training program. Ideal Candidate Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrate initiative and respect towards residents and other people in the home. Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members. Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
