A well-respected manufacturer based near Newmarket is looking to expand its production team with hands-on, practical Assembly Operatives. Specialising in high-spec antennas for global commercial, military, and satellite markets, this company is seeking motivated individuals to support their growing order book.All applicants must have access to their own vehicle to commute to this siteAs an Assembly Operative, you'll work on the production of advanced antenna and satellite modules, cutting materials, soldering components, and using a variety of tools to bring precision-built units to life.Assembly Operative Duties:Assembling satellite and antenna units/modules with precisionSoldering and cutting components to specificationUsing hand and power tools safely and effectivelyFollowing work instructions and technical drawings (training provided)Maintaining a clean and organised workstationCollaborating with a supportive team in a workshop environmentWho are we looking for?A willingness to learn and a positive, proactive attitudeMust drive and have access to your own vehicle (no public transport available)Assembly, soldering, or production experience is a bonus, but not essentialPay & Hours:13.65 p/hourMonday to Thursday, 08:30 - 16:30Friday, 08:30 - 16:00 (early finish)37-hour work weekFlexible working hours available after probationOvertime availableOn-site parkingTemporary ongoing position with the potential to go permanentPrevious assembly experience is advantageous but not essential. If you have a great attitude, are keen to learn, and enjoy hands-on work, they're ready to train the right person.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a cutting-edge manufacturer in a long-term, hands-on role.
