Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Lookers Motor Group Limited Join us as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic at Lookers Motor Group Limited. Location: Lookers Glasgow Van Centre, Glasgow, ScotlandRole type: All Tech Levels welcomeContract type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: £30,000 – £45,000 plus OTE up to £6,000 (depending on level and qualifications)Hours: 40 hours per week, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm Report to the Accomplished Aftersales Manager who will provide ongoing support and training, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training. Responsibilities Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology Conducting vehicle service in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requests Carrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer Warranty repairs as per the manufacturer’s guidelines and complete relevant write‑ups Taking the customer's vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard Qualifications & Requirements The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a mechanic, be self‑motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have completed NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification. Previous experience with a brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
