Role Overview Hybrid / Remote (office based in Lincolnshire) Industry: Technology / Food Software Solutions Senior IT support specialist to help keep expanding infrastructure running securely and efficiently. What You’ll Be Doing Take the lead within IT support operations, acting as the primary escalation point for advanced technical issues. Manage and prioritise support tickets to ensure fast and effective resolutions. Oversee daily IT tasks — including server upkeep, patching, and endpoint management. Keep technical documentation accurate and maintain a clear, accessible knowledge base. Monitor key support metrics and identify process improvements. Manage equipment inventory, procurement, and all aspects of IT onboarding/off‑boarding. Provide user training and develop helpful resources to strengthen internal capability. Collaborate closely with infrastructure and security teams on wider technical initiatives. Offer occasional out‑of‑hours support as part of a shared rota. Main Skills Needed 4+ years’ experience in IT support, including a lead capacity. Solid technical knowledge across Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and networking. Comfortable troubleshooting issues directly in the command line or PowerShell. Confident with Intune (or other MDM tools), patching, and scripting. Able to write SQL queries and automate repetitive tasks. Strong organisational skills — able to manage workloads in a fast‑moving environment. Excellent communication, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly. Knowledge of IT security, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or ITIL frameworks is a plus.
