Job Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a full‑time Consultant Psychiatrist to join Amber Ward, a 12‑bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit at Langley Green Hospital in Crawley. This key medical and leadership role is part of our inpatient multidisciplinary team, providing high‑quality, person‑centred care to adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties. Responsibilities Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment to inpatients. Lead ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings. Act as Responsible Clinician for detained patients under the Mental Health Act. Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to teaching and training. Engage in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development, and support research, development, medical education or special interests. Location and Flexibility Sussex Partnership provides mental health and learning disability care for all age groups across Sussex and for children and young people in Hampshire.
