The Project Engineer will provide support to the company Technical Authority and company Radiation Protection Supervisor.Main ResponsibilitiesEffective planning, organisation and management of NDT inspection activitiesConducts site visits to supervise, audit and occasionally support onsite NDT deliveryProvide technical support to onsite personnel ensuring efficient delivery of NDT work scopesProvide technical support with respect to the development, validation and implementation of new technology, techniques and proceduresDevelop an awareness of customer needs and implement strategies and systems to meet those needsUndertake additional duties as requested by the Site / Project ManagerDevelopment of work packs and scope definition ready for hand over to supervision for executionEnsure suitable resources are available and produce look ahead plans based on the fabrication scheduleSupport the site managerAttend coordination meetings and liaise with customer and contractor’s area supervision to ensure NDT works do not impinge on SimOps activities or vice versa and NDT is able to proceed safelyProactively look for blockers to delivery and identify potential resolutionsConduct pre-job walk downs as requiredSupport in the production of RAMSIn addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the position holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager and Cost Engineer from time to timeExperience and QualificationsMinimum of PCN Level 2 Radiography, Level 3 preferredRelationship builder with good commercial awarenessProven track record in a similar roleExperience in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and to a deadlineExcellent written and oral communication skillsThis role offers an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity to be an integral part of Bilfinger UK’s, growing inspection team on Hinkley Point C, contributing to the future of the UK's Nuclear new build sector.If you wish to speak to a member of the recruitment team, please contact 01224 246246. #J-18808-Ljbffr
