OverviewJob Title: Senior Treasury Risk ManagerLocation: Birmingham, UKJoin Us Get a chance to work across Linxon’s 3 exciting HUB’s and be responsible for managing Linxon’s market risk management function as part of the wider team.ResponsibilitiesWhat will you do?Senior Treasury Risk Manager will ensure risks are identified, measured and addressed in accordance with policies approved by the Board.Operate and develop a risk management program with extensive understanding of the business’ key risk areas and plans to proactive management of these risks as requiredRisk exposure identification, evaluation, monitoring, management and reporting effectiveness on the following key risk areas: Foreign exchange risk, Commodity Price Risk, Inflation Risk, Interest rate risk, Counterparty credit riskDevelop potential hedging strategies to mitigate balance sheet, income statement and cash flow exposuresTrade execution and negotiation with banksISDA and counterparty contract negotiation and administrationAnalyze the source of the foreign currency costs and recommend opportunities for improving ratesDevelop financial models and pro forma scenarios for evaluating strategic initiativesParticipate in corporate finance projects, including review of the Group’s capital structureLead the trading and risk management workstreams of treasury system developmentHave a thorough understanding of hedge effectiveness testing and its application under IAS39 and IFRS 9QualificationsCompleted university or college degreeExtensive experience preferably from corporate treasury and/or trading experience in foreign exchange and commodity hedgingCorporate or banking treasury background is requiredExperience of working in a multi-cultural, international organizationExperience in managing complex projects from start to finishStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsResult-oriented, persistent, dependable and consistentCommercial mindset due to the business partnering element of the roleHigh energy, high motivation and strong work ethicHigh proficiency in spoken and written English as the corporate languageAbout LinxonShaping energy solutions to empower sustainable connectivity.We combine Hitachi Energy’s deep technological knowledge and Atkins Realis’s project management expertise to create a company dedicated to substations – we are Linxon.Linxon’s vision is to deliver the best market offering for turnkey substation projects through world-class power technologies and delivering the highest level of competence in managing infrastructure projects.As a leading engineering company, we help our customers with turnkey substation solutions in the field of power transmission, renewable energy and transportation.In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a new company as it evolves and help shape it for the future.
