Crane Supervisor

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced A62 Crane Supervisor for a government project at HMP Highpoint. While the role typically involves supervising crane operations, this position will focus on providing traffic banksman duties to support telehandler/forklift movements on-site.
Duties include:
* Support forklift operations.
* Ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and machinery around the site.
* Communicating clearly with machine operators to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
* Monitoring and maintaining compliance with site safety standards and procedures.
* Reporting any safety issues or hazards to site management.
Requirements:
* Valid A62 Crane Supervisor Ticket
* Safety Critical Medical – must be up to date
* Standard DBS check – required for the project
* EL1 check – a government clearance process to verify eligibility to work on secure sites
* Previous experience as a traffic banksman or Crane Supervisor on construction sites
* Strong understanding of site safety protocols
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Additional Information:
* This is a government project; applicants must complete both the EL1 check and DBS check before starting work.
