Industrial Placement Programme – Marketing Takeda, a leading global biopharmaceutical company, is offering a 12‑month Industrial Placement in Marketing as part of the 2026 UK Takeda Industrial Placement Programme. The placement begins in July 2026, with a location based at our UK Head Office in Paddington, Central London, and a minimum of eight office days per month. Candidates will be assigned to one of four neuroscience, oncology, gastrointestinal or rare disease business units and will work on real projects that impact patients’ lives. About the Placement This programme gives students the chance to develop practical experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment while learning the values that put Takeda at the forefront of the pharmaceutical industry. Participants will build expertise in brand strategy, omnichannel marketing campaigns, logistics of regulatory approvals, and internal stakeholder management. By the end of the placement you will have a clearer sense of your own career aspirations and a professional network across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Work with brand teams to support tactical implementation of brand strategy and stakeholder engagement. Lead key omnichannel marketing campaigns, including development of emails, videos, leaflets and other marketing materials. Assist with business‑critical approval processes for sales‑force materials such as meeting invitations, slides, and related documentation. Manage internal approval workflows and withdrawals via Promomats, the materials approval database system. Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings, liaising with customers and agencies. Participate actively in early‑careers community IGNITE and other Takeda reference groups aligned with our diversity, equity and inclusion values. Qualifications & Skills Undergraduate, currently enrolled in a STEM or marketing degree with the aim of completing a 12‑month placement. Highly enthusiastic, committed, and conscientious with a strong sense of integrity, transparency and accountability. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proactive learner, willing to take feedback and improve performance. Organised with keen attention to detail and able to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently. Computer literate and comfortable with marketing and project management tools. Strong team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
