CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - South Croydon Position - Year 3 Primary Teacher Type of work - Class Teacher – planning, preparation, marking, parent evenings etc Contract or position start date - 5th January 2026 Duration / Likely Duration - until end of the academic year July 2026 Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2026 with a view to extend to the end of academic year 2026/27 for the right teaching professional Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary Full time/part time - Part Time (3 days per week, Weds‑Fri) Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP180 per day (depending on MPS) Hours - 8:00am - 16:00pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS or equivalent Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK Strong KS2 national curriculum knowledge Strong behaviour management Extensive SEN/EAL experience Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
