About the Role School Cook at Oxford Outcomes (Outcomes First Group), located at Jubilee School, Waterlooville PO7 7RE. Start: January 2026. Permanent Term Time only position. Salary: £23,833.13 per year (£14.25 p/h, not pro rata). Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, Monday–Friday 8:00am–3:30pm. UK applicants only; no visa sponsorship. We offer a 4‑Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, allowing one day off each week while maintaining full salary. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver fresh, nutritious meals for pupils and staff. Design balanced menus meeting various dietary requirements. Maintain kitchen safety and hygiene standards. Manage stock, portion control, ordering, and minimise food waste. Handle deliveries and supplier queries accurately. Provide tailored meals for specific dietary needs. Support daily mealtime services for students, staff, and visitors. Lead, support, and guide the kitchen team, delegating tasks effectively. Report maintenance issues and keep accurate records. Work within budget, using resources responsibly. Follow school policies, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures. Represent Jubilee School professionally, prioritising pupil wellbeing. Qualifications Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or 3. Experience creating high‑quality, nutritious meals in a busy kitchen. Strong hygiene and safety practices. Ability to plan menus, manage stock, and stay organised under pressure. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Flexible, reliable, and adaptable to changing demands. Team‑player who upholds Jubilee School values with pupil wellbeing at the centre.
