Asbestos Operations Manager Location: Slough, Berkshire. Salary / Benefits: £30k – £55k + Benefits. Job Description Our client is a leading name within the Asbestos industry, nationally established with a strong presence in the South East of England. They provide a full range of asbestos management services to industrial, commercial, educational, social housing, retail and leisure sites. They are now seeking a knowledgeable and professional Asbestos Operations Manager to manage, oversee, and support the client’s longstanding team of staff and ensure smooth day‑to‑day running on site. Responsibilities Oversee day to day operations on site. Oversee site staff, provide support and efficient management. Create tailored training plans for employees. Manage workload efficiently and delegate where required. Ensure that all technical and quality procedures are up to date and followed. Attend site to carry out audits, inspections, and quality control, maintaining UKAS accreditation. Write and produce site specific RAMS. Provide clients with quotations and tenders. Act as first point of contact for clients, providing excellent support and advice. Ensure internal systems are up to date and accurate. Quality check surveying and analytical reports. Efficiently improve technical standards of work carried out by staff. Ensure work is completed within agreed timeframes. Participate in financial duties within the business. Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally. Qualifications & Experience Industry relevant qualifications BOHS P402, P403, P404, P405. CCP / CoCA beneficial. Experience with an established, UKAS accredited asbestos company. Proven track record in operations / technical management. Extensive knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 284 guidelines. Hands‑on experience in surveying / analysis within the asbestos industry. Excellent IT skills, able to use industry recognised systems (TEAMS / TRACKER). Efficient workload management in line with company and client requirements. Excellent communication skills via email, phone, face‑to‑face.
