Our world‑class CNC machining facilities incorporate the latest 5‑axis technology, including Mazak Integrex multi‑tasking centres, capable of producing complex machined cast components in aluminium, stainless steel and iron materials. We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mazak Integrex 5‑Axis CNC Setter Machinist to join our team. Benefits Full‑time, immediate start. 40 hrs per week — 07.00 am to 15.30 pm Monday to Friday. 23 days (inclusive of bank holidays) per year. £16.00 to £20.00 per hour, permanent, dependent upon experience, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate. Role Summary Setting and operating 5‑axis CNC machines to prove out the process of new products and batch production. Creating and editing programs online using Mazak (Mazatrol Smooth) and/or Heidenhain controls. Complex parts are generally programmed offline, and the candidate will be required to be highly competent to engineer and prove out the parts on the machine. Performing in‑process manual measurement and signing off work instructions to comply with Quality Management and Internal Process Control. Maintaining high standards of documents and product traceability. About You You will have proven experience machining complex components in aluminium and ferrous materials, ideally castings. Will have used Heidenhain and/or Mazak 5‑axis controls. We would be interested in candidates who have also programmed offline. Due to the complexity of cast components machined you will have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Comfortable with proving out development parts and new methods of manufacture. Eligible to work within the UK and looking for a long‑term progressive career. What we offer Job Type: Full‑time, immediate start. Hours: 40 hrs per week — 07.00 am to 15.30 pm Monday to Friday. Holidays: 23 days (inclusive of bank holidays) per year. Pay: This is a permanent position with an hourly rate of £16.00 to £20.00 per hour, dependent upon experience.
