The company designs, manufactures, and installs components, fuel and instrumentation and control systems for nuclear power plants and offers a full range of reactor services.Job descriptionFor the Sizewell C Project, we are looking to recruit for the role of Project Manager.The proposed position is :Operationally attached to the Sizewell C Head of Buildings Branch (part of the SZC Senior Leadership Team)Located in the EPR-E office, 800 Aztec West, Bristol, England.The Sizewell C Nuclear Island (NI) Project Manager is accountable for the SZC (Sizewell C) project progress follow-up for the following activities :NI AuxiliariesNI UtilitiesPrimary and Secondary circuitElectrical & DieselsCivilsResponsibilitiesThey are responsible for :Support to and close collaboration with the Head of Branches and Head of Engineering Programme to implement the replication strategy from HPC to SZC for the Nuclear Island ProgrammePlan, monitor and control the RD activities on the NI Programme in conjunction with the following stakeholders :RD Internal entities : Edvance, DIPNN / Direction Industrielle / TEGG, DIPNN / Direction Technique / SAE.DSExternal suppliers / contractorsEmployer / clients (NNB / SZC)Technical disciplinesRole specificsAs a Sizewell C NI Project Manager, you will :Coordination of the Task Order preparation for NI scope, preparation of Change Requests related to Task Order changes and annual SZC offer preparationMonitor delivery and ensure that the project List Of Deliverables (LOD) and project schedule are up to dateManagement of risks & opportunities associated with NI Programme.Management of design changes and configuration managementPreparation of and / or contribution to contractual communications such as Early Warnings, Compensation Events, Technical QueriesOversight of the budget and associated monthly gap analysis in collaboration with the cost managers and Head of Branches / Head of Engineering ProgrammeEstablishment and delivery of the monthly reporting for the NI Programme, which is integrated into the RD reportingOrganization of the progress meetings with NNB and management of interfaces with NNB on the NI Programme scopeIdentification and management of interactions between the NI Programme and other engineering sequences.Interface with internal contract managers and contract engineering leadsPrimary point of contact with the Project Control and PMO teamsProfileEssential Qualifications, Experience and SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience in a Project Management roleTechnical / engineering experienceExperience in similar large and complex project(s)Flexible and pragmatic solution focused approach to project managementDesirable Qualifications, Experience and SkillsExperience of nuclear engineering project(s)Experience of electronic document management systems and scheduling softwareRelevant project management qualificationChartered membership of a professional engineering institutionLanguagesEnglish fluent (required)French - bonusBenefitsCompetitive Salary & Benefits25 days annual leave per year raising to 28 (x1 day for 2 years service)8% employer pension contribution (salary sacrifice)1% min EmployeeIndividual and family private health careLife assurance (4x salary)Employee assistance programme (EAP)Income ProtectionProfessional Membership (1 per year)Cycle to Work SchemeLanguage CoursesPlus more including access to training and development opportunities.We are an equal opportunity employer.
