Job Description IMPORTANT NOTE: This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in our Milton Keynes office at least 2 to 3 days a week. The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people Joining us as a Data Solution Architect At CityFibre, we’re building the UK’s finest digital infrastructure, and our Data & Architecture team plays a vital role in shaping how we use data to drive innovation and performance. As a Data Solution Architect, you’ll help design and deliver scalable, future‑ready data platforms that support our mission‑critical operations. You’ll work closely with Enterprise Architects, technical leads, and stakeholders across the business to create solutions that are robust, secure, and aligned with our strategic goals. You’ll receive a salary of up to £75,000, a performance‑related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing. This is some of what you can expect to be doing: Designing data solution blueprints, pipelines, and integration frameworks across cloud platforms like AWS and Snowflake Leading architectural decisions and influencing technical direction across multiple programs Collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to resolve conflicting technical opinions and agree on the best approach Creating data flows and transformation logic to harmonise inputs from multiple systems Applying frameworks such as TOGAF or TM Forum to ensure governance and best practice Ensuring operational stability and cost efficiency in all data solutions What you’ll bring to the role You’ll be a data architecture expert with a strong background in cloud‑based platforms and enterprise data solutions. You’ll also have: Hands‑on experience with AWS data services and Snowflake Proven ability to design and deliver ETL / ELT pipelines and orchestrated workflows Experience in the telecommunications industry and familiarity with OSS / BSS data Strong coding skills in Python, Spark, or similar technologies Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts on technical direction and build consensus among stakeholders Leadership experience in architectural decision‑making and ambition to grow into broader strategic roles Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging We’re a Times Top 50 Employer for Gender Equality.
