Role Specification

The successful candidate will be a strategic commercial professional responsible for managing complex construction contracts, driving commercial performance, and ensuring robust contractual compliance across multiple high-value construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Contractual leadership will involve comprehensive tender management, contract preparation, risk assessment, and commercial negotiations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skill in developing and maintaining client relationships, managing contractual documentation, and delivering commercial excellence throughout the project lifecycle. You will be instrumental in balancing contractual complexity, financial performance, and operational risk management across the company's diverse construction portfolio.

Professional Requirements

We are seeking an accomplished contracts professional with a minimum of five years' experience in construction contract management. A degree in Construction Management, Commercial Management, or a related field is preferred, complemented by extensive knowledge of JCT, NEC, and other standard form contracts. Exceptional analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and a forensic approach to commercial management are essential.

Technical Competencies

The successful candidate must demonstrate advanced proficiency in contract drafting, commercial risk management, and tender preparation. In-depth understanding of construction law, contractual frameworks, and commercial best practices will be crucial to success in this role. Proven experience in managing high-value construction contracts within complex project environments is a must.

Exceptional Compensation Package

Professional Certifications
