Lecturer – Accounting & Finance Department: Academic, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) Location: London, Greenford Contract: Full‑Time, Permanent (40 hours per week). Our vision: Changing lives through education. The Role We are seeking Lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Due to our delivery model, flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required. What you’ll be doing As a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance at Global Banking School, you will deliver management‑related modules, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment, and keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices. Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met Develop, update, and improve course materials as appropriate Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials Actively engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties Keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices Work towards clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and student progression About You Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable) Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback Experience of accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records Can work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills Can work with diverse groups of people Desirable Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent) Experience of design/development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent Referrals are welcome. #J-18808-Ljbffr
