Commercial Gas Engineer - London, M25 Salary: Competitive dependent on experience up to £59k. Job Purpose As the Commercial Gas Engineer you will maintain services by delivering planned and reactive maintenance to an agreed programme, budget and quality within the company’s operational targets. Responsibilities Carry out inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts and perform repairs. Undertake gas servicing, repairs and maintenance. Carry out other maintenance, repairs and remedial works as directed. Act on call‑out duties via rota (*paid door‑to‑door). Ensure safe working practices and compliance with the company’s Health and Safety policy. Experience Required Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the commercial gas industry. Knowledge of plumbing and commercial gas engineering. Repairs, servicing, maintenance and installation. Experience as a suitably qualified heating/gas service engineer in commercial and/or domestic premises. Working knowledge of heating distribution and ventilation systems (majority of work in plant rooms with all associated equipment). Routine maintenance of plant items such as pumps, heat changers, pressure vessels and valves. Ability to use a PDA device. Call‑out rota 1 in every 5 weeks. Qualifications Required CODNCO1 / COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety – essential. CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1A. CCN1, CENWAT, CEN1, HTR1, CPA1, CKR1. WAT1 Water Heaters. UDHW Unvented Domestic Hot Water. LPG qualification – desirable but not essential. TPCP1 Testing and Purging – desirable but not essential. Valid full clean driving licence. DBS Check required.
