Project Manager – Costain Group PLC We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the procurement of a significant main works package for an upcoming "design and build" construction project, with potential to grow into a future role on the main construction works. The role is based remotely with some flexibility on site visits. Candidates must be able to obtain security clearance. Responsibilities Lead the development of the main works scope for the design and build of the new facility. Assist with the procurement, selection and onboarding of contractors and subcontractors to complete the work scopes. Once a main contractor is awarded, manage the onboarding and mobilisation, including construction phasing, logistics, laydown areas, stakeholder interface, construction planning and design related activities. Ensure the tender process and design reflect the Client and Joint Venture Partners' Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability Policies and statutory requirements. Essential – Knowledge, Skills, Experience Experience at a similar level on a major project or in a highly regulated environment. Demonstrable experience of procurement/tender processes for significant contract or subcontract packages. Experience managing subcontract packages, including programme and commercial aspects. Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practice. IT competence (MS Word, Excel, document control systems). Desirable Experience working in a nuclear environment. NEC3/4 contract experience. Qualifications Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in Civil Engineering, project management or equivalent experience.
