Hours: 40 hours per week (working pattern will vary depending on location, average 36 per week). Pay: £12.60 per hour. Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities: Deliver high standards across facilities including washrooms and other public spaces. Keep all toilets clean of litter, spillages cleaned up, floors clean and tidy. Keep all consumables topped up. Use a pump to unblock (training provided) if needed. Carry out janitor/cleaner duties to the highest specification. Carry out general and specialist cleaning duties in line with the role. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly checked, used, and maintained. Record all work via a handheld device and report issues accurately. Complete all duties in accordance with rail safety regulations and internal procedures. Remain flexible with working hours and willing to travel. Sweep floors including waiting rooms and entrances. Empty bins and remove waste. About You Willing to learn and develop. Reliable and flexible, smart in appearance and always professional. Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job. Preferably some experience working within a cleaning environment and as part of a team. Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner. Willing to work in all weather conditions. Driving licence (not required for all roles). Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes, which may include a passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate or a valid share code.
