Be the 1st responder to equipment & machinery breakdowns forming a crucial part of the escalation policy. Carry out repair, replacement & refurbishment of various parts, components & systems. Support the installation, relocation & modification of equipment & machinery as required. Be aware of continuous improvement opportunities through maintenance activity & communicate potential improvements. Ensure accurate records of maintenance activity including DT Reports, Work Orders & Store Inventory. Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards. Uphold 5S standards through all maintenance work areas. Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize operational disruption. Qualifications Clear working knowledge of differing equipment, machinery & systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic. Ability to identify & resolve maintenance issues. Understanding of safety regulations and ability to perform Dynamic RA. Effective communication skills with various team members. Effective time management. Need to have A relevant vocational qualification NVQ, ONC, C&G with an appropriate apprenticeship. Minimum 1 year’s experience post apprenticeship within a Maintenance environment. Candidates without qualifications but who can demonstrate relevant industrial knowledge and experience will be considered. Nice to have 3+ Years post apprenticeship Maintenance Experience. Forklift Truck License. IPAF License. Personal Attributes Ability to work well under pressure. Good verbal and written communication skills. Relevant technical knowledge. Good attention to detail.
