Interim Systems Accountant – Actionstep ACCA Careers is recruiting an experienced accountant with expertise in the Actionstep accounting system for a legal firm based in South Wales. Description My client, a leading law firm in South Wales, deployed Actionstep early in 2025. The organisation cannot yet generate reliable reports or configure accounts correctly at month‑end. Your role will involve diagnosing these issues, implementing required changes, and training the finance team on proper use of the system. Responsibilities Diagnose current reporting and configuration problems in Actionstep. Implement system changes and optimisations to achieve accurate month‑end reporting. Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to the finance team. Collaborate closely with the Finance Director to ensure alignment with firm objectives. Qualifications Proven experience in accounting and finance. Strong knowledge of Actionstep system implementation and optimisation. Technical proficiency in system integration and data migration processes. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Ability to provide training and support to staff effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining system accuracy. Good communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members. Job Offer Immediate start. 1–2 month project. Based in South Wales. Competitive daily rate; can be treated outside IR35 so LTD companies are acceptable.
