Accounts Manager - Accountancy firm Royston, Hertfordshire£50,000 to £60,000 Butler Rose Public Practice are currently partnered with a well-established accounting firm based in Royston, Hertfordshire, who are seeking an experienced and qualified Accounts Manager to join their team. The role will involve managing a portfolio of clients and providing high-quality accounting and tax services to meet their needs. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing and submitting tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and reviewing the work of more junior staff members. Role Requirements Managing a diverse portfolio of clients (Ltd Co., sole-traders and partnerships) and building strong working relationships. Preparing and reviewing financial statements under FRS102-1A and FRS105, and associated corporation tax returns. Managing the day-to-day activities of the accounting team to include review work. Providing advice and guidance to clients on accounting and tax matters. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation. Managing client accounts and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records. Developing and implementing new accounting policies and procedures as required. Proficient in the use of accounting software to include IRIS, Xero, Quickbooks and Sage. Person Requirements ACA/ACCA full qualification with ideally 2 years' PQE. Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within a UK based accounting firm. Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
