Fully subscribed for this academic year, the school is seeking a fun, friendly, and dedicated trainee teacher to support students aged 5 to 19 with complex needs, including Autism, Asperger's, and associated learning difficulties. As a Trainee SEN Teacher, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and support, initially on a 1:1 basis, helping students progress academically, socially, and emotionally. You'll be working with primary or secondary-aged learners who are typically two to three years below age-related expectations. This two-year training programme will provide you with the skills and experience to qualify as an SEN teacher. The school is deeply committed to meeting the needs of every child, using pioneering child development strategies that have earned them an Outstanding rating from Ofsted. Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events.
