Job Advert Therapist Part time – Pro rata £30,000 - £35,000 Wokingham Overview Are you a qualified Therapist looking to change the lives of young vulnerable people? We are looking for a Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team As a Therapist at Swaay, you will predominantly work from our office in Wokingham but will also travel between our school and homes within the Bracknell, Reading and Farnborough areas, developing therapeutic programmes in both group and individual settings. Qualifications The successful candidate will have a qualification in a discipline relevant to working with children, such as CBT, Psychotherapy, DDP, and experience working with children and young people with complex needs. Roles and Responsibilities Develop individual therapy programmes for young people on case load based on assessments and case notes under the supervision of experienced psychologists and practitioners. Conduct individual therapy with young people residing at SWAAY. Form part of the core group for each young person on case load. Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of group work programmes, using evidence‑based practice. Assist with day‑to‑day administration tasks. Attend multidisciplinary meetings relating to the young people and work closely with other staff members to ensure that appropriate arrangements are in place to maintain a focused therapeutic placement. Present and provide training at other agencies and at national and international conferences. Benefits A full induction to the organisation will be provided.
