OverviewSurveyor - Healthcare Team in Operational Real Estate, Value & Risk Advisory. London, UK. We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our specialist Healthcare team within Operational Real Estate in Value & Risk Advisory. This role involves delivering strategic real estate advisory and valuation solutions for lenders and investors in the healthcare and senior living sector, working with healthcare investors, providers, NHS Trusts, private healthcare operators, and retirement living developers across the UK.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert valuation and advisory services for healthcare properties including retirement living, hospitals, medical centres, care facilities, and specialist treatment centresDeliver strategic real estate advice for healthcare property acquisitions, disposals, and development projectsPrepare RICS Red Book valuations for healthcare properties for financial reporting, lending, and strategic planningConduct portfolio valuations and market analysis for healthcare real estate assetsBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsSupport business development activities within the healthcare sectorCollaborate with multidisciplinary teamsMentor junior surveyors and graduates within the healthcare teamContribute to training programs and knowledge sharing; support APC candidatesParticipate in sector-specific research and thought leadership; collaborate with wider EMEA Healthcare teamsEssential RequirementsMRICS qualified, ideally with post-qualification experience in the healthcare sectorDegree in Real Estate, Surveying, or related disciplineComprehensive knowledge of RICS valuation and professional standardsExperience in healthcare real estate valuation preferred; understanding of healthcare sub-sectors and regulatory environment; experience with healthcare property investment markets and funding mechanismsExpert knowledge of valuation methodologies for specialist healthcare propertiesExperience with portfolio valuation and investment advisory servicesProficiency in Argus, Excel, and property databasesExcellent written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines; commercial awareness and understanding of healthcare market dynamicsDesirableExperience with healthcare investment funds or REIT portfoliosUnderstanding of environmental sustainability impact on healthcare property valuesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to work on high-profile healthcare projects of national significanceClear career progression pathway within JLL's global platformContinuous professional development and training opportunitiesFlexible working arrangements and a modern London office environmentAccess to JLL's extensive healthcare network and resourcesAbout JLLAs a leading global commercial real estate services company, JLL helps clients buy, build, occupy, manage and invest in a variety of commercial, industrial, hotel, residential and retail properties.
