Responsibilities Undertaking assigned tasks that involve direct patient care in the mental health community settings. Act in a manner that protects and maintains the patient's sense of dignity, personal relationships and social contact, while respecting the individual's religious beliefs and cultural practices. Lifting and moving of patients when required - in lines with the Trust's manual handling policy. Taking and recording of blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration. Assist in monitoring and maintaining the health and safety of patients. As a newly appointed employee, you are responsible for incurring the cost of your initial DBS check relevant to your post; the amount will be deducted from your first salary with the Trust.
