HGV Class 1 Driver

Working on a Monday to Friday basis, starts available are between 01:00 - 05:00.Drivers will make between 1-3 deliveries per day, primarily of cages from a tail lift, so a certain amount of physical work will be required.Ideally our partner client would like drivers with 12 months HGV C+E experience, however they are willing to work with drivers with less experience on a case by case basis.Average shifts will be around 12 hours a day.Pay Rates change throughout the day but it will be:£17.18 per hour for all hours worked between 06:00-16:00£18.89 per hour between 16:00 -22:00£20.61 per hour between 22:00-06:00QualificationsA full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlementA valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)A valid Digital Tachograph CardNo more than 6 current penalty pointsNo DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 yearsResponsibilities of a Delivery DriverCheck the vehicle regularly and report any issuesDrive safely and follow all traffic lawsUse GPS or maps to find the best routesDeliver goods on time, in full and to the correct addressCommunicate politely with customersReport delays, accidents, or problems to your managerBenefits of working for The Best Connection Group Limited includesPossibility of ongoing temporary assignments or permanent positions after a successful qualifying period28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holidays and not rolled into the salary)Weekly payPerks at Work schemeOnline payslipsPension contribution #J-18808-Ljbffr
