Domestic Assistant Housekeeping - Deeside Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 37.5 Deeside Care Home is a 68-bed care facility providing exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care in a welcoming and supportive setting. We are now seeking a Domestic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your attention to detail and high standards of hygiene will directly contribute to their wellbeing and quality of life. What We Offer £12.21 per hour Contracted to 37.5 hours per week Pension scheme, Paid PVG, Free uniform 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract) What You Will Do As Domestic Assistant, you will provide thorough cleaning services across the home, ensuring all resident areas and communal spaces are maintained to the highest standards. This includes floor care, cleaning of furniture and fittings, replenishing sanitary facilities, and safe waste disposal. You will also assist with laundry duties, handling residents’ belongings respectfully and following infection control procedures. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a welcoming and homely environment where residents feel safe and comfortable. About You You take pride in your work and have an eye for detail. A team player with a positive attitude, you understand the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, especially within a care setting. Previous experience in domestic or housekeeping work is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
