Your work keeps the kitchen running smoothly and helps set the team up for success. With energy and focus, you’ll assist chefs, keep workspaces clean and organised, and step in wherever needed. Working closely with your team, you’ll bring heart to every shift—helping to create great service behind the scenes and outstanding dining experiences out front. How we work Take pride in maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen. Support chefs with food preparation and stock management. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures, at all times. Collaborate as part of a team to ensure excellent service. Take responsibility for kitchen equipment, reporting any issues promptly. Our Person - We are looking for someone who : Support the team by keeping kitchen areas, surfaces, and equipment clean and sanitised. Assist with basic food prep and ensure ingredients are properly stored and rotated. Operate dishwashing equipment and manage waste disposal responsibly. Follow cleaning schedules and complete required kitchen paperwork accurately. Ensure food is presented cleanly and efficiently through timely kitchen support. Support the kitchen team in reacting to guest feedback, when required. Attend team briefings and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment. Assist team members as needed, promoting teamwork across the kitchen. Follow daily duties and maintain awareness of company standards. Immediately report any maintenance, hygiene, or safety concerns. Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, safety protocols, and cleaning schedules. Experience We Value Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Strong awareness of food hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards. Good time management and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team, showing reliability and initiative. Willingness to learn and develop within the kitchen team.
