This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.Join our NEW Distribution CentreWe have exciting opportunities for Warehouse Team Managers to join our NEW DC based in Ellesmere Port.This will be working Monday - Friday on a rotational basis. 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pmAs a Warehouse Team Manager, you will lead, manage and control your area of responsibility in line with area specific KPI targets and time constraints.Through positive behaviour and attitude, conduct and communication, you will drive, develop and lead a successful team of admin and warehouse colleagues.You will provide effective leadership, motivation, training and development to your team and will report to the Warehouse Shift Manager.We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivating leader. In addition to the relevant experience you must also be able to demonstrate the following:Good DC practice knowledgeAbility to develop and maintain good relationships at all levelsDriven to deliver performance and resultsPeople focused, able to lead and motivate othersOpen minded and able to embrace and influence changeExcellent oral and written communication skillsPlanning and organizing skillsInitiative and decisivenessAble to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesThe key accountabilities of the role will include:Lead, motivate and challenge your team to deliver consistently high results and help drive maximum productivity and service to our stores.Plan the training of staff and monitor their performance and progress.Responsibility for your area of control ensuring all KPI targets are consistently achieved. Manage productivity within your area of control.Achieve and maintain pick accuracy levels.Use space and MHE efficiently ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met.To ensure that relevant audits and workplace inspections are undertaken.Work in collaboration with peers and superiors to maximize efficiencies and best practice.We offer great benefits and development opportunities at B&M.
