Overview Class 2 Driver Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit a Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Branston, Burton-On-Trent (DE14) to start immediately. Hours: 48 hour week, any 5 out of 7 days. Pay rate: £14.95ph Responsibilities Carry out daily walk-around checks of the vehicle, raising defects where appropriate. Inspect load safety before leaving the depot and request for items to be reloaded if necessary to avoid unnecessary damage and so as to ensure safety. Drive the vehicle safely in accordance with the law and company policies at all times and be respectful of other road users. Check goods off with delivery sites and obtain signature and print. Understand tachographs and drivers hours regulations and comply with them at all times. Report any accidents as soon as possible in line with the company accident procedure. Attend essential training when required. Provide excellent customer service. Maintain the cleanliness of the cab. Experience and Qualifications Valid Licensing: Hold an in-date, valid Class 2 licence, CPC Licence and Digi Card. Good driving record: Have no more than 3 points on your licence. Professional Presentation: Maintain a smart appearance and bring excellent customer service skills with a keen eye for detail. Flexibility and Punctuality: Show flexibility in shifts and duties with reliable timekeeping. Experience behind the wheel: Previous retail or commercial driving experience is preferred, and multi-drop experience is an advantage.
