These programs have seen the scope of our teaching effort broaden significantly and moving forward, shape the future health workforce in Australia and beyond.Why this role mattersThe Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will have qualifications as a health professional recognised in Australia. The role aims to contribute significantly to educational excellence within the School of Health Sciences, encompassing disciplines of Exercise, Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmacy, and Physiotherapy. The position will lead the development of students in professionalism, innovation in healthcare, and career pathways across a broad scope of practice settings. It reports to the relevant Discipline Lead, collaborates across disciplines, and supports interprofessional education, all while driving educational excellence and programme quality.Key Skills RequiredLevel BRegistration or accreditation as a health professional in Australia.Preferred: PhD in a health discipline (significant clinical and education experience may be considered).A breadth of professional practice and/or education experience in multidisciplinary teams.Proven commitment to proactive maintenance of discipline knowledge and development.Experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery of courses and programmes at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.Level C (in addition to the above)Significant experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches, including interprofessional education.PhD in a health discipline.Evidence of professional development in teaching and a strong track record of teaching excellence.Demonstrated success in initiating curriculum development and improvement.Demonstrated track record in research (including scholarship of learning and teaching) with outcomes of high quality and high impact to improve education and/or health outcomes.Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence and fostering this in others.Pre‑Employment Checks Required For This PositionVerification of qualifications.UNSW Benefits And Culture17 % Superannuation and leave loading.Flexible working.Additional 3 days of leave over the Christmas Period.Access to lifelong learning and career development.Progressive HR practices.How To ApplyPlease click on Apply now to apply online.
