Base pay range £109,725 – £145,478 per year | Full time (10 PAs) | Permanent What we’re looking for We’re seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Older Adult Inpatient Service in Hastings, based at the St Anne’s Centre on the Conquest Hospital site. You’ll be part of a friendly and enthusiastic multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, person-centred care for older people with acute and complex mental health needs. You’ll share our values of compassion, accountability and optimism, and bring strong clinical leadership, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach. This is a key opportunity to shape and influence how we deliver care and support continuous service improvement. Responsibilities Providing psychiatric assessment and treatment for older adult inpatients Leading ward rounds and MDT meetings Acting as Responsible Clinician under the Mental Health Act Supervising junior doctors and medical students Contributing to audit, clinical governance and service development You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across East Sussex and play an active role in shaping transformation within our older adult services.
