This leadership role oversees the delivery of hard facilities management (FM) services within a high-security, technically complex environment. You will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and maintain exceptional customer service standards—while working on a site that requires the highest level of government security clearance.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate all planned and reactive maintenance activities across a diverse portfolio of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building fabric systems.Manage internal engineering teams and specialist subcontractors to meet strict HSEQ requirements.Be the key point of contact for stakeholders with direct client interaction and oversee performance against KPIs and SLAs.Drive delivery against KPIs and effectively manage SLAs.Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Essential Qualifications/SkillsExperience: Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams within facilities management or a similar technically focused environment.Security Vetting: Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is essential due to the sensitive nature of the Defence estate.Strong knowledge of SFG20, building maintenance best practices, CDM regulations, and HSE compliance.Health & Safety Certification: IOSH (or equivalent) required.Demonstrable ability to deliver against KPIs and manage SLAs effectively.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Relevant technical qualifications (mechanical or electrical) are desirable but not essential.BenefitsIn return for your hard work we offer additional training and development, 26 days holiday (+ bank holidays), generous pension contribution, life assurance and much more.We are VINCI Facilities – experts in the built environment.
