Would you like a new career challenge, managing a small team of HCPs within the Custody suites, with a real passion for developing clinical, forensic, and wider skills not just in yourself but for your wider team?What can I earn?£45,000 per annumHowever, with typical overtime shifts at premium rates, based on actual earlier data, that’s another £3,500.Refer a friend and receive £500.Minimum requirementsYou’ll be a qualified RN Adult, RMN’s (with dual registration), RGN or Paramedic.Minimum of 12 months previous Custody experience, 2 years post‑qualification experience in General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk‑in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service as an Adult RN.3 years UK residency.You’ll need a current manual driving licence with no restrictions to sometimes travel to other custody suites or local hospitals.All candidates are subject to police vetting checks.ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibility will be to lead a team of HCPs providing detained individuals with accurate assessments and ensuring their care and wellbeing needs are met. You will look at rota gaps and cover as needed. You will manage the HCPs, ensuring they are supervised and appraised appropriately.
