Description

Develop and implement category strategies for engineering and construction procurement.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure value for money and service quality.
Lead contract negotiations to achieve favourable terms and conditions.
Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align strategies.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain service standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.Profile

A successful Category Manager - Engineering and Construction should have:

Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the energy & natural resources sector.
Strong knowledge of engineering and construction procurement practices.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
