What you'll do You’ll be joining Business Management, Strategy & Transformation, driving commercial success through portfolio and people optimisation to deliver value. You’ll provide a vital contribution to the strategic technology development of the C&I customer digital experience with the goal of excellent customer outcomes. In this role, you’ll manage strategy of your function, support delivery of its product backlog, produce customer value iteratively, and use stakeholder management to secure input and agreement, ensuring strategy cascades appropriately. Additional responsibilities: Facilitate and provide key inputs to the development of franchise strategy; deliver domain‑specific technology strategies to drive outcomes. Agitate decision making, including with executive and senior stakeholders, by developing data‑driven insights. Support technology transformation programmes by executing strategic communication campaigns that build awareness. Lead understanding and application of overall function strategy across domains. Develop, document, and agree a comprehensive technology strategic plan aligned with business vision. Provide high‑quality executive briefings on external perspectives, industry trends, competitor activity. Act as trusted advisor to senior tech leaders, supporting articulation of plans and challenges. The skills you'll need We’re looking for strong leadership capabilities, good research skills, insight generation, prior experience in business planning, strategic recommendations, and influencing strategic change. Delivery track record in large diverse organisations and ability to form partnerships across the business, ideally with global footprint. Required skills: In‑depth experience of technology banking strategy and decision support. Knowledge of complex changing technology landscape. Excellent communication skills – communicating complex technical concepts to peers, managers, and senior governance. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including leading strategy workstreams with tech and business partners.
