Senior C++ DeveloperManchester City Centre (8 min walk from Manchester Victoria Station)2 days a week in office£50k - £65k +bonus, perks and benefitsYou would be working with a close-knit development team on the development and rollout of high performance, customer facing Self-Service Terminal platform to be used in over 1400 stores across the UK.As a Senior Developer, you'll play a key role in the evolution of the software, supporting feature enhancements, performance improvements, UI implementation and integration with various hardware components. You'll take ownership of complex tasks, work closely with other developers, QA engineers, and delivery leads, and mentor less experienced developers to help deliver high-quality solutions.Job DutiesDesign and implement high quality solutions to business requirementsDeliver performance and reliability in softwareEnsure quality through unit and automation testsIntegrate with hardware peripheralsSupport and develop backend servicesImplement UI design changes and improvementsReview code, testing, and debuggingWrite and maintain technical documentationCollaborate with QA to support test coverage and investigate issuesWork as part of an Agile delivery team to help meet sprint goalsMentor less experienced developersApprox. 7 years recent experience in C++Familiarity with Windows development and Visual StudioA solid knowledge of the STLExposure to Qt and QMLExperience of client-server architectureKnowledge of networking concepts (HTTP, TCP/IP, sockets)Interest in or experience with hardware communication (e.g. serial, USB)Experience or familiarity with C#Knowledge/experience of DevOps/GitOpsExperience and knowledge of multi-threadingIND_PC1Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group STEM Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
