Clinical Secretary - Emergency and Medical Join to apply for the Clinical Secretary - Emergency and Medical role at NHS Lanarkshire. The Role Provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently. Work in accordance with standard operating procedures. What we'll need you to bring SVQ2 or equivalent experience plus at least demonstrable experience in health care administration or in secretarial role Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues Excellent organisational skills Strong competence with relevant IT systems Team working skills Ability to deal with change Audio typing skills It would be great if you also have Knowledge of TrakCare, Winscribe digital dictation system Contract type Fixed Term (6 Months) Full time 37 Hours Location This role will be based in Emergency and Medical within University Hospital Wishaw. Please note this is a 6 months fixed term post. Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post.
