Solution Architect – Client-facing | TypeScript | API Design | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite in Central London) | £105,000‑£110,000 + 15% Discretionary Bonus Method Resourcing is thrilled to be partnering with a global leader in the travel industry that is hiring a Client-facing Solution Architect to join a high-performing architectural team. This brand-new role supports the launch of a major system used by some of the most recognisable names in the global payments space. The role: As a Solution Architect, you’ll play a key role in shaping technical solutions for strategic clients. You’ll lead the early architecture process, from technical discovery and client engagement through to internal delivery alignment and proof‑of‑concept builds. This is a high‑visibility role that balances strong software knowledge with excellent stakeholder management and communication. What You’ll Be Doing Lead client‑facing solution architecture discussions – mapping technical needs to platform capabilities Design and communicate system architecture diagrams, data flows, and API integrations Build prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts to test ideas and drive alignment Translate complex requirements into clear deliverables for both technical and non‑technical audiences Collaborate closely with internal engineering and product teams to ensure smooth handover and scalable design Skills and Experience We Are Looking For Strong software development background (ideally TypeScript and Node) Hands‑on experience in solution architecture and API design Ability to build and communicate technical diagrams, flows, and documentation Strong client‑facing skills, ideally gained in a consultancy Prototyping experience – confident building quick, functional POCs to bring concepts to life Strong cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management Comfortable working in pre‑sales or commercial environments Benefits Work abroad for up to 8 weeks per year 15% discretionary bonus 25 days holiday + increases with tenure 6% employer pension contribution Private medical and dental insurance Life assurance (4× salary) Income protection plan (75% of base salary) Working pattern: This role requires 2 days per week onsite in Central London.
