Reporting Analyst – IQVIA (Chesterfield, England, United Kingdom – Hybrid) Join to apply for the Reporting Analyst role at IQVIA. We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical individual to join our Reporting Function, with a strong focus on delivering high‑quality, insightful reports that predominantly support healthcare survey programmes for the NHS. This role is central to transforming complex survey data into meaningful outputs that inform service improvement, policy development, and patient experience initiatives across the NHS. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare data and a deep understanding of how robust reporting can drive better outcomes for patients and providers. You should be confident working independently on bespoke reporting projects and collaborating on large‑scale national NHS surveys, such as the NHS Staff Survey and CQC Patient Experience Surveys. A clear communicator with a meticulous approach to data accuracy and presentation is essential. Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Design, build, and maintain robust reporting templates using Microsoft Excel to support recurring and ad‑hoc reporting needs. Manipulate and refine large, complex datasets with clear audit trails and version control. Translate raw data into clear, actionable insights through appropriate charting, formatting, and narrative techniques. Deliver reports that are tailored to stakeholder requirements, ensuring clarity, relevance, and usability. Apply rigorous quality assurance checks to all reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency. Manage competing reporting requests and deliver outputs within agreed timelines. Continuously improve reporting processes and templates for efficiency and scalability. Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charting, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). Strong understanding of reporting principles and data visualisation best practices. Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Awareness of Qlik Sense capabilities in terms of data visualisation and exploration. Proven ability to present complex data in a clear, concise, and visually engaging format. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to first‑time accuracy. Experience in designing and maintaining report templates is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
