Express Recruitment is working with a highly reputable organisation who are seeking an experienced professional to manage night‑time operations and quality of service for a busy residential care home of 60 beds. The candidate will oversee a team of 12 staff, ensuring high standards of care and support while driving standards forward. Salary: c£35,000 per annum, DOE. Location: Redditch. Working hours: 12‑hour shifts (4‑5 per week, 40 hours per week). Roles and Responsibilities Lead and supervise the night shift team, ensuring high standards of care and support. Maintain the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of residents throughout the night. Oversee night‑time operations, ensuring compliance with care plans and procedures. Provide guidance, coaching and support to night staff, promoting best practice. Complete necessary reports, handovers and communication to daytime management teams. Skills and Experience Previous Team Leader or Deputy Manager experience essential. Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the healthcare sector and NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or similar. Knowledge of key issues affecting the healthcare sector in the current climate. Detailed understanding of commissioning new policies. Able to effectively lead and motivate a team successfully.
