Responsibilities of Domiciliary Support Workers Support adults with learning disability & mental health conditions in their own homes. Helping with skills development. Medication in compliance with local guidelines. Assisting with Shopping and Activities. Attending medical appointments. A caring attitude and a willingness to make a difference. A desire to see vulnerable people treated with care and respect. Reliability, flexibility, hard working and honesty. Excellent communication and People Skills. Positive and Compassionate Attitude. Committed to Health and Safety. Main Duties of Domiciliary Support Workers Support/Care for a set number of Service Users in their own homes. Record information in documents and service user's files on a daily basis. Prepare meals and drinks as required and serve meals. Assist with Personal Care. Provide Emotional Support. Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
