School Premises Manager - SEN School (Enfield)
Location: Enfield, North London
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, 7:45am - 3:45pm, 52 weeks per year
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
Remedy Education is working closely with a fantastic SEN school in Enfield who are looking for a reliable and experienced Premises Manager to join their team.
This is a key position within the school, ensuring the site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained all year round. The ideal candidate will have strong practical and organisational skills and experience managing school facilities or a similar site.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Overseeing the maintenance, safety, and security of the school site
Managing and supporting caretaking and cleaning staff
Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently
Conducting regular checks on heating, lighting, and alarm systems
Ensuring the site is compliant with all health and safety regulations
Managing access to the site and holding keyholder responsibility
Maintaining school grounds and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for staff and pupils
Supporting the school with operational logistics as needed
About You:
Previous experience as a Premises or Site Manager (school experience preferred)
Knowledge of health and safety and building compliance requirements
Practical maintenance skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
A flexible and proactive attitude
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
