The Team Our Infrastructure & Capital Projects (I & CP ) or A&M INFRA team helps clients improve returns on major capital projects and manage development and operational risk. With deep sector expertise and strong problem‑solving capability, we support owners, operators and contractors across the full project lifecycle-from procurement and delivery through to operations and asset management. A&M INFRA operates at the intersection of technical, commercial and financial infrastructure issues, advising clients across sectors such as energy, transport, social infrastructure, digital, oil & gas and utilities. We provide integrated, end‑to‑end advisory services across technical, economic, regulatory, ESG and commercial areas. Working closely with A&M's broader teams, we also bring tax, financial and operational expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions before and after transactions, helping clients navigate complexity and deliver critical infrastructure projects The Role W e are seeking a n experienced project finance modeller brin g ing demonstrable experience of financial modelling , project finance, development finance and PPP/PFI transactions in a client facing role within the public and private sectors. As an experienced finance modeller, you will take an active role in building, populating, and optimising detailed financial models to inform investment and financing decisions, assess value‑for‑money and affordability and support deal structuring. With your current and previous background gained in a client facing, consulting and infrastructure advisory role, you'll have the required expertise to support business development activities, the shaping of strategies, and both help manage project workstreams and expand client relationships. The successful candidate will join our London‑based practice to play a key client facing role in supporting the delivery of complex advisory mandates . You will work closely with some of the industry's most experienced professionals, contributing to the delivery of strategic, commercial and financial advisory services for both public and private sector clients. Our regional market coverage spans Europe, and adjacent markets in E MEA, with a strong focus on sectors such as transport, energy transition, social infrastructure, data centres, housing, and utilities. Working alongside A&M's senior leadership, you' ll have the opportunity to influence client strategy, drive execution of high‑profile transactions, and help shape the growth of one of the fastest expanding infrastructure advisory practices in the market. Activities and Responsibilities Build, maintain and optimise detailed project finance and development finance models for complex infrastructure and capital projects across key sectors such as transport, energy, social infrastructure, utilities and digital infrastructure . Prepare and lead client workshops, meetings and calls to assist in scoping and designing models, gather input data, review and validate calculations and hand over models to clients when they are complete Conduct sensitivity analyses, scenario testing and financial structuring to assess project viability, affordability and value for money. Develop Business and Investment Cases through data -driven and analytical insights and outputs, informing investment decisions, funding strategies and commercial negotiations. Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors , including legal, technical, and commercial workstreams , to ensure financial models accurately reflect project documentation and contractual structures. Play a pivotal role across financial workstreams on client assignments, ensuring models comply with financial modelling conventions, quality assurance standards and auditability requirements. Prepare high‑quality analysis, reports and presentations to communicate results and recommendations to senior management, clients, lenders and investors. Contribute to due diligence, documentation review and model‑based review and analysis to support project structuring and transaction execution . Maintain up‑to‑date sector and market knowledge to support business development activities and thought leadership across the EMEA region. Undertake additional tasks and initiatives as required to support the continued growth of the Infrastructure & Capital Projects practice. Qualifications A Bachelor's or a M aster's degree in F inance , Economics, Engineering, Accounting or a related quantitative discipline Demonstrable number of years of experience in f i nancial modelling, with experience of building and operating financial models in a project finance context essential, and experience of developmen t finance modelling desirable . Preferably coming from a financial modelling role in a leading accounting or consulting firm, or infrastructure advisory firm with a strong project finance modelling capability Proven track record in developing, operating , and reviewing complex project finance or development finance models . Experience working with or for the public sector or experience of public sector procurement processes. Ability to demonstrate k nowledge of and interest in the Infrastructure and Capital Projects sector . Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills for interactions with senior management, clients, and colleagues . Competencies Strong experience in Excel including use of macros, and proficiency in reporting and analytical software ( PowerBI etc.) Critical thinking skills providing fact‑based recommendations, recognizing and addressing additional opportunities to serve the client, through an understanding of A&M's services. Ability to work under pressure with strong decision‑making skills whilst demonstrating attention to detail, ensuring accurate , complete, and high‑quality work Proactivity in acquiring knowledge of innovative technologies . Good interpersonal relationship skills to effectively interact at multiple level (internally and externally) .
