KS2 HLTA - Primary School, Southwark

Full-time | Long-term | £110 per day (increasing after 12 weeks)

Start Date: ASAP - July 2026

SANZA Teaching Agency are working with a well established primary school in Southwark who are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term, full-time basis within year 3 and other KS2 year groups.

The role will begin ASAP and continue until July 2026, offering a great opportunity to make a lasting impact within a supportive school community.

The Role

Working mainly within Year 3, running small intervention groups to support pupil progress
Providing classroom cover across Key Stages 1 and 2 as needed
Supporting teachers in planning and delivering engaging learning activities
Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a HLTA qualification or higher (essential)
Has experience supporting learning across the primary phase
Confident in leading small groups and covering full classes when required
Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to helping children achieve their best
