This is a permanent position offering the flexibility of home-based working, with occasional travel to the Glasgow office. The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for complex employee relations cases, advising managers and stakeholders across the business. From handling sensitive casework to supporting tribunal processes, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has up-to-date employment law knowledge, and is passionate about improving the employee experience while reducing business risk. Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for managers seeking guidance on complex ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, wellbeing, TUPE, restructures, redundancies). Manage employment tribunal claims, including early conciliation with ACAS, drafting responses, evidence collation, and preparing witness statements. Provide advice on settlement agreements, contractual changes, and employment law updates. Maintain and update HR policies and the Employee Handbook in line with legal requirements. Support HR Business Partners and wider stakeholders with people projects and change programmes. Analyse and report on ER trends and casework to support decision-making. Promote best practice, compliance, and continuous improvement in all HR processes.
