We are looking for a self motivated person who can work well as part of a team. We would prefer experience in a mechanical plant or engineering background and will offer training for the right person. There will be an after hours call out roster which is on a 24 hour basis which you will be expected to undertake and includes weekends and bank holidays all year round. You will need to hold a full driving licence and be willing to complete an online driving licence check.The central role will be to provide a professional On-site Hose Replacement Service to Pirtek customers. This role will include being part of a 24 hr ‘on-call’ rota with other franchise technicians.Candidates will be expected to actively promote Pirtek products and services to existing and prospective customers throughout their given territory.The candidate is expected to maintain the highest levels of health and safety practice including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment where applicableThe day to day management of a Mobile Sales and Service Unit (MSSU) to include:Maintaining sufficient stock levels within the MSSU as per a franchise supplied stock list.Performing routine maintenance checks in accordance with the MSSU defect checklistEnsuring the MSSU is kept clean and tidy inside and outsideManaging all Pirtek supplied documentation within the MSSU including technical and procedural updatesTo provide assistance to Centre staff within the franchise when requestedTo attend Pirtek training courses as requested by managementGood personal presentation and adherence to Pirtek policies and proceduresBasic mechanical knowledgeGood manual dexterity and physical abilityGood communication skills both orally and in writingThe ability to present yourself in a professional and courteous manner to customers and staffThe ability to work unsupervised and to time constraintsAbility to effectively communicate technical information to engineering personnelSuccessful completion of the Pirtek Induction and Training programmes (based in Birmingham) and subsequent on-site assessments as requested by managementIdeal person to have plant or motor trade background or experience with hydraulicsWork experience in a technical/engineering environment advantageous but not essentialEducational requirementsFull driving licence requiredApply for this jobComplete this form to apply for the Mobile Sales & Service Technician (Ref: MSST – CAMBRIDGE) role.Title - Select -First name *Last name *Email *Telephone *Upload CV MS Word or PDF format onlyCovering NoteJob Application TitleJob Application LocationI agree to receive other communications from Pirtek (UK) Limited.By clicking submit below, you consent to Pirtek (UK) Limited privacy policy . #J-18808-Ljbffr
