Dietitian (Band 5) – Fixed Term Post The successful candidate will work within well‑structured teams with regular supervision and appraisal for all staff. The role involves delivering care to both in‑patients and out‑patients across the following specialties: elderly care diabetes / neuro gastroenterology / critical care renal The Trust has two main bases – Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals. It offers an excellent postgraduate centre at Arrowe Park Hospital and supports personal development. The successful candidate should have experience of working in the NHS as a student, or be a qualified Dietitian. Responsibilities include training students on B and C placements, supporting healthcare professionals (e.g., clinical support worker training), and delivering patient sessions such as pulmonary rehabilitation. CPD opportunities will be provided through internal and external study days. Job share, flexible working and part‑time hours will be considered in line with the Trust’s flexible working policy. This fixed‑term post is open for newly qualified Dietitians with HCPC registration. We are looking for a Band 5 Dietitian with good communication skills, enthusiasm, flexibility and commitment. Applicants should have experience working with the MDT during their training, clinical or leadership placements. Ideal candidates may be new graduates or staff with experience in a Band 5 role. Opportunities to gain experience in specialist areas (gastroenterology, nutritional support, renal, stroke/neurology, and diabetes) are planned, along with the chance to work alongside other professionals as part of MDT collaboration. The service is co‑located with Speech & Language Therapy in an open‑plan office and links with other AHP services.
